It's the second week of teaching this semester and it's been great so far. My teaching load is reduced this semester as I need to focus more on my studies. However, I can't seem to focus on it lately. It's like something is always in my head, moving around and distracting me. It's so @#$%^&*@#$

And I want to do some photography. It's been a long time since my last one.
And I need to get the application documents done.

It seems like I’ve failed to close down this blog. I was thinking maybe this blog might come in handy one day when I finally found the perfect mix of things to blog about. At the meantime, just remain this blog as simple as possible to keep me easy to maintain. Hopefully, I have some spare time to update it constantly and inspire to blog. And I really need a long break to design my own interface and layout but when would it be.

It's also my first photo in the year 2010

It was such memorable experience to shoot the first sunrise of the year with friends. Sacrificed my sleep for it. However, it was a bit cloudy and we couldn’t manage to get the sunrise so ended up taking the sunlight and other things but it was still a great experience.

This is another overdue photo but finally it's done.

I joined my friend who organized this event for a photo shoot on the models at Pasir Pandak last month. Frankly speaking, I never had this experience before so this is my first challenge. I used to dislike taking portrait shots before as I think it’s hard get the right angle and people’s expression but now I’m getting more into it and I love it.

Many thanks to my friend, Ahsan who organized this and the models (Swing, Maria, Sarah, Raad) for such a wonderful session.

Went to have a road trip with my family and stopped by at a shop to have lunch. There's an aquarium full of goldfish and it caught my attention to play around few shots with nifty fifty.

Will be heading to Penang tomorrow for a week. A break after finished up a paper feels great. The main purpose of going to Penang will be revealed with photos when I'm back.

This is another overdue photo which was taken end of September.It was my colleague's wedding. She asked me to help her on her actual wedding day as backup photographer. It was my first wedding shoot and it was a great experience as I always wanted to try on wedding photography. I still have a lot need to learn but I'm getting to like portrait photography.

Borneo Highlands

Been really busy lately. I've been putting a lot of attention on my master research nowadays and pushing myself really hard to finish it on time as I only left one year to complete which really terrify me.

This is actually an overdue photo which taken early October at Borneo Highland. A trip organized by our uni club, Photomedia to be exact. It's a wonderful place to capture nature and macro shots. Unfortunately, it was a raining day, so we missed a lot of wonderful chances to visit all the places there. I think I will visit there once again.

Talented niece of the bride who performed on the wedding

As mentioned before, helped my colleague to photograph during her wedding. I've finished the editing of this series but I didn't have the time to upload the full series. Will upload soon then. This is the one of the photos that I spent most of the time editing it.

I'm getting to like wedding and portrait photography as I got the chance to attempt to it. Still a beginner and have so much to learn. Wish to challenge and attempt more in future to improve my skills.

Week that full of smiles

A simple light graffiti that I created with the help of my sister pressing the shutter.

It was a short of happiness on the fact that this week is a break. Received a late notification that I have to attend a training for the whole week and it has test at the end of the training. Having a hard time to absorb something complex and have zero knowledge on it in 4 days. Gonna work harder in order to pass the test. Looking at the bright side, It's an honored that I'm paid to learn something new. Smile for it.

Another thing to smile for is that tomorrow is the graduation for my honours. Although I'm not attending but it is still an achievement and a lot of my friends are graduating too. Gonna work hard for attending a big/real one but not the last one.

My friend's wedding on the next day of graduation, another thing to be smile for. Gonna work better this time on the photo taking.

After that, it's test and full of markings. The very last things on this week which are not to smile for. I need more hours in a day this week to do my research and photo editing.

Little girl from the wedding

Helped out on my colleague's wedding last weekend. It was my first in wedding photography. It was tired due to lack of sleep but quite an experience indeed. Plus, met a few cute and adorable young nieces and uncles of hers made that day an enjoyable one.

Took a lot of photos but I don't think I did a good job for it. However, I learned something out of it. Hopefully, I could edit the photos over this weekend. And smile for a week break next week.

Had this Green Charity Concert for the Green International Festival Kuching 2009 at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK). Many local bands performed. My friends and I had the authorize to be at the front stage to take photos. Awesome and loud.

The new semester is starting soon in 3 more days. This is the period which everyone is crazy with all the hectic paper works, so do I but I’m almost done. So, thought of I should take a breather to blog a little about this:

I just celebrated my (age=title-1) birthday last week and it was a total awesome.

I had nothing planned for that day. I was taken completely surprise on what my family and friends had done and spent their time for my day. I was total speechless and tears in my heart. Received wishes from friends before, actual and after the day made my day too.

I have awesome family and friends. Thank you them for making my day a wonderful and memorable one ♥
